To make your weaving process even more enjoyable, it also comes with:
Enough yarn to create 2-3 bookmarks
~15 meters of 100% Cotton yarn (warp)
~24 meters "Colorado Sunset" colorway from Get Knit Faced - super wash merino DK weight yarn (weft)
Comb - for beating weft
2 needles - makes weaving and passing the yarn back & forth easy-peasy!
Heddle bar - creates a shed to allow an easy pass through of the yarn in one direction
Spacer bars - to give an even start to your weaving and create enough space to tie tassels at the end
Once you've used up the yarn it comes with, the following yarn is recommended:
DK or Sport weight (size 2 or 3 on yarn label)
Can use Fingering weight (size 1 on yarn label) for an even lighter weight bookmark, it will just take longer to weave
Worsted Weight (size 4 on yarn label) can be used in the weft, but may be a bit too thick for the warp
Tip: Use a bit of yarn or a binder ring through the small holes on each piece to keep all pieced together when not in use!
